Girl Scouts can use their creativity and scouting skills to learn how their mouths link to overall health and well-being as part of the Delta Dental of Idaho Smile Squad patch program.

Scouts will review good dental habits, try oral health experiments, discover how hidden sugars can damage their teeth, and learn about the importance of brushing and flossing every day for a healthy body and mind.

Materials and patches are available free of charge to troops in the Girl Scouts of Silver Sage council.
