LifeSmile Oral Wellness
Delta Dental of Idaho is proud to introduce the NEW Health through Oral Wellness® program, or HOW® for short. HOW is a unique, patient-centered program that adds additional benefits to dental plans, based on the patient's individual oral health needs. By performing a simple risk assessment at the beginning of the patient's visit, high-risk patients may have access to additional preventive and health-sustaining benefits.
Dentalytics™ puts the power of dental practice analytics in your hands. This is a free, web-based tool offered to our participating providers. Dentalytics™ helps you track patient sealants and fluoride treatments, as well as evaluate your high-risk periodontal population. The data helps you rank yourself against your peers and share best practices for patient management and process improvement with fellow dentists.
Our dental benefit plans come in multiple sizes and shapes to fit any Idaho family at any budget. With competitive rates and outstanding customer service, we make it easy for individuals to visit the dentist on a regular basis. Together we can promote healthy smiles and improve overall health across the state of Idaho.
Whether your patient is employed at a large enterprise or a small startup, our plans offer zero-waiting-periods at time of enrollment and both voluntary or employer sponsored dental benefit plans. By providing these affordable options for employers, we make sure we're putting cheeks in your seats all year long.
Delta Dental of Idaho now offers pediatric and adult coverage ACA compliant dental benefit plans. What does this mean for your practice? More patients and less administrative hassle. These ACA compliant plans can be purchased through yourhealthidaho.org or directly through Delta Dental of Idaho.
Delta Dental of Idaho has teamed up with SelectHealth to offer dental benefits to Medicare Advantage beneficiaries.

If a claim is denied, how do I request reconsideration?
When claims are processed, you will receive a Claim Payment Statement. This statement explains how the services were processed. Fees are reviewed annually by Delta Dental and may be changed based on market conditions and claim analysis.
